Belfast, Northern Ireland, U.K. 11 August 2018. U.K. An anti-internment parade organised by dissident republicans has marched to Belfast City Centre for the first time. The Anti-Internment League said it's march was to "oppose the continued use of internment by remand" and highlight "cases of internment including those incarcerated via revocation of licence, by remand, via miscarriage of justice and through 'Garda belief evidence'". A protest organised by "Northern Ireland Against Terrorism" was held  while the parade passed on Royal Avenue close to where two UDR soldiers were killed by an IRA bomb.
